For shops in Dar es Salaam
We come to your shop, photograph everything on your shelves, type up your product list, and put it online as a catalogue your customers can browse. Orders arrive on your WhatsApp.
Why shops stay offline
Every shop owner we speak to has thought about selling online. The thing that stops them is not the technology — it is the four weeks of work that has to happen before a website is worth having.
A thousand products, one at a time. Every item has to be photographed on a clean background before it looks like something a customer would buy.
The prices live in a book. Names, prices and categories are in an exercise book, a POS export nobody can open, or in the owner’s head. A wrong price is worse than a missing photo.
Nobody has a spare fortnight. The shop still has to open at seven and close at seven while all of this is meant to be happening.
Orders arrive on WhatsApp anyway. So a catalogue that doesn’t end in a WhatsApp message is a catalogue nobody in the shop will actually use.
The part you can’t do on a phone
This is the work we exist to do. Three stages, and you only see the third one.
Our photographer works through your stock where it stands, with a portable lighting kit. Nothing is taken away and nothing is unpacked that shouldn’t be.
Every photo gets the background removed and is framed the same way, so your catalogue looks like one shop rather than a thousand different snapshots.
Matched to the right product, with your price and category, and live on your web address.
Shopify assumes you already have the photos, the product list, and a spare week. We assume you have a shop.
That is the whole difference. The software is the easy half — what actually stands between a Tanzanian shop and an online catalogue is the fortnight of photography and data entry nobody has time for. So we do that part.
How it works
Four steps from a phone call to a live catalogue. Three of them are ours.
Our photographer spends a few days in your shop with a lighting kit, shooting every product on your shelves. Nothing leaves the premises.
We do thisSend us whatever you have — a POS export, an Excel file, a supplier price list, or photos of your stock book. We turn it into a proper product list.
We do thisYou get a private link and go through the catalogue on your phone. Fix a price, change a name, hide anything you don’t want listed. Nothing goes public until you say so.
You do thisYour catalogue gets its own web address. Customers browse, fill a basket, and the order lands on your WhatsApp with the full list and the total.
We set this upWhat you get
Every product with a clean photo, a price and a category. Customers search it, browse by category, and see sizes and colours as options.
A free address from us to start with. We can also register your own domain in your name, or connect the catalogue to the website you already have.
The customer fills a basket and taps one button. You get the order reference, the items and the total, with a link to the full order. No app for them to install.
Change a price, add new stock, see this week’s orders. Built for a phone, because that is what is behind the counter. Your staff can have their own logins.
Packages
A monthly fee covers hosting, your web address, and support. Setup work — photography, data entry, domain registration — is quoted separately once we have seen your shop.

Need a few more products than your package allows? Add them on rather than moving up a package. Nothing already published is ever taken down.
These are one-off jobs we quote after seeing your shop and your product list. They are what actually gets you online — the monthly package just keeps you there.
